Lauren lives on a big block, over 1000m2 near Fairfield in Western Sydney. She has been there for quite a while, 22 years and has accomplished quite a bit. She has lots of fruit trees including espaliered pear and apple trees behind a brick stable, both black and white mulberries, pomegranate, a banana circle and lots of citrus trees. She has a frog pond next to the house which helps to keep the house cool in summer. Most of her veggie growing is restricted to containers close to the house, where she can get to them. She hopes to put in some raised vegetable beds soon also.
