Under the Choko Tree By Nevin Sweeney

Choko Tree Friends - Tim and Ann

These guys have been our next door neighbours for a very long time. It is only recently that they have gotten into veggie gardening in the front yard and have devoted a corner of it to intensive veggie and herb production, centred around an old, unwanted trailer. They have also been making use of unwanted wheelbarrows and trolleys, filling them with growing soil and then filling them with insectary plants and fruits, in this case strawberries.

The frame, made from electrical conduit, which sits over the top of the trailer is used to support shadecloth, which is put on overnight in winter to deter frost and during the day in summer to reduce the heat.

There is also a public bench for tired walkers to find a moments rest on.
